Purpose: Embracing Your Unique Design in Life

Purpose: Embracing Your Unique Design in Life

Our lives are not random accidents, but part of God’s greater kingdom plan. We are encouraged as believers to stop defining purpose merely through career success, recognition, or achievement and instead discover purpose through relationship with Jesus Christ. One of the strongest themes in the book is that God often uses even painful seasons—grief, disappointment, waiting, hardship, and uncertainty—to shape spiritual maturity and future ministry. Nothing surrendered to God is wasted.

Aging and Purpose

Explore the significance of aging with purpose and how Christian faith transforms our approach to retirement and life. After reading Aging with Purpose, by Hal Habecker, I asked myself some personal questions and here are my reflections. Are you a grandparent?

Are you a grandparent?

What seeds of faith and hope are you planting for those who will follow? Legacy Coalition is here to encourage you and your church to minister to grandparents as they encourage and influence their grandchildren. Our desire is for grandparents to look beyond the pleasures of the retirement culture and invest in the lives of their grandchildren.  Our children and grandchildren hold the potential to change the world for eternity, just as those before us prayed for our paths. It starts with prayer and worship! Pray!
Praying Through The Bible For Your Kids

Nancy Guthrie -Praying Through The Bible For Your Kids

What we all want most for our children is not just happiness or success, but a deep and lasting relationship with God. As Nancy Guthrie’s devotions in “Praying through the Bible for your kids” remind us, our greatest hope is for our children’s hearts to be transformed by faith and their lives to reflect wisdom, grace, and spiritual growth. Even in moments of heartbreak or sorrow, we can find comfort in entrusting our kids to God, trusting His promises to bring healing and strength that lasts for eternity.

Mission Trips

"In 1966 we made our unforgettable trip to the then remote desert of the Baja Peninsula. There, in the dark of night, we came upon some old uninhabited adobe ruins. We heard the voices of little children where there were  no children. God gave us a vision of a home for children, a great harvest of souls for the kingdom of God, and a Bible institute like the one I attended as a young woman."
