The purpose or mission of this website is to encourage and challenge fellow Boomers, plus Boomers and Beyond, on our journey with Jesus. How? It’s threefold: We explore our faith in God while keeping our eyes focused on Jesus as we follow Him. We also want to hear the Holy Spirit’s voice as we pray to see God’s vision for our lives and discern how our service will be pleasing to Him. When we stand before Jesus someday, we wish to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Vision For This Website:
We want to provide resources for you as we explore the interrelationship of what I call the three circles of life. My hope is that we discover new ways in which our Faith, Vision and Service can make a difference not only in our own lives but in the lives of other. We can change the world by embodying the love of Jesus to our families, neighborhoods, cities and world. Among other features, I will introduce you to people that I have come to know and respect. To me, they live out the three joy-filled Circles of Faith, Vision and Service. Most planted a small seed, let it germinate and then saw the fruit, giving God the glory. I think you will find their stories motivating as you aim to live your life to the fullest.
Prayer is Ministry
“Through prayer, we can join any team that God is using, in anyplace in the world! We don’t need to be on a “Missions Committee” to do missions ministry!
Look for what God is doing in the world…and become a part of a “team” that is praying for that country, region and or missionary. You can become a part of a team, no matter where you live. Social media gets us anyplace in the world in seconds! A great encouragement for any of us who are “boomers’ or “Boomers and Beyond” Getting older doesn’t preclude us from prayer ministry! In fact, it can and does make us more effective! If we can’t physically “go”, we can get creative with the help of the Holy Spirit and make some eternal significance in the world.
