Jesus is Praying for You Right Now

Jesus is Praying for You Right Now

Really, Right Now?

“He is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.” Hebrews 7:25

As Henry Bosch states in The Unfinished Work of Christ devotional August 18th, “If there is a great problem in your life and your prayers seem of no avail, tell Jesus about it and ask Him to pray for you! He will take your request and present it to the Father-perfumed with the everlasting incense of His own merits. Because of His wonderful intercessory work on your behalf, you too may experience the remarkable results that only His all-powerful prayers can obtain.”

Bless the Lord, O My Soul. Our Daily Bread.

Jesus desires everything for you that His Father desires. There is not a single desire in the heart of God that is not on the lips of Jesus as He prays for you.

A One Minute Daily Devotional

Jesus Prays for You

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word.” John 17:20 KJV

You can always be rich in the things of God and in your walk with Him because of Jesus’ prayers for you. Jesus began praying for you two thousand years ago. You were included in Jesus’ high priestly prayer that He brought before his father when His time and ministry on earth was about to end.

Through Jesus’ intercession on your behalf, the riches of heaven have been opened to you, the blessings of heaven have been released to you the realities of heaven have been given to you, and the resources of heaven have been committed to you.

His Footsteps My Pathway, by Roy Lessin. Sept. 26 Devotion. Jesus Prays for You.

Everything God Desires for You.

“I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. and all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.” John 17:9-10 NKJV

Isn’t it wonderful to know that the reason Jesus has prayed for you and is praying for you is because you belong to Him. Jesus is not praying for you as His enemy, but as His friend, and as a child in His Father’s family.

In His prayers for you, Jesus desires everything for you that His Father desires. There is not a single desire in the heart of God that is not on the lips of Jesus as He prays for you.

His Footsteps My Pathway, by Roy Lessin Sept. 28 Devotion. Everything God Desires for you.

The Beauty of God’s Presence.

“Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep[a] through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.” John 17:11 NKJ

Because God wants to bless you, Jesus’ prayers for you are filled with blessing. Because God wants to be glorified through your life, Jesus is praying that the Holy Spirit will strengthen you to make the choices that will please the Father. Because God wants you to know Him, Jesus is praying that you will go deeper and deeper into the heart of the Father’s love.

Jesus is praying that you be kept from all evil, from all that will rob you of His joy, from all that will keep you from fellowship with Him, and from disunity with other members of the body of Christ. He is also praying that you will know the beauty of His presence as He shines upon you in true sanctification and holiness.

So, as I start this day…

Beginning Your Day. My time is in Your hands!

Father, as I begin this day I commit it to You. I lay all things at Your feet. I place all things into Your hands. I move forward in faith, believing that You go before me. I receive from You -Your strength, Your enabling, and Your anointing. I embrace Your love, Your mercy, and Your grace.

Release through me, as rivers of living water, Your goodness, Your truth and Your love. Take my heart and fill it, take my hands and use them, take my words and speak through them, take my feet and guide them. May Your glory be the signature over all I do this day.

Does all this seem real or strange?

Prayer, Prayer, Prayer

“Prayer is always life’s greatest time saver. You may be facing a great change or decision that seems overwhelming to you. The LORD knows exactly what you need, and He will always answer your prayers as is absolutely best for you. Therefore, spend time listening to Him, receiving His wisdom and direction, and drinking in His presence and power. Be quiet before Him, rest in Him, and allow Him to order your steps. He will keep you from moving in the wrong direction or wasting time doing useless things.” Charles E. Stanley Life Principle 27.

You Are My Hiding Place

As Zig Ziglar says  “The trail is long, and we won’t arrive at our destination in this life. Still, we’re on the journey with Jesus for the greatest thrill of our lives.

Ask God to Order Your Steps Today

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Proverbs 3:3-6  English Standard Version (ESV)

Can we have a close relationship with God and experience Peace?

Ephesians 6:18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit.

None of us can long survive, let alone prosper, without the sincere prayers, love, support, and encouragement of other believers offered on our behalf. God ha designed the Christian life as a community event, not as a solo endeavor.

For Discussion

Jesus and Holy Spirit are interceding with the Father for us.

Jesus has been praying for us since the beginning of time.

Our time has been forordained by God.

“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:24

“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestine us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.” (Ephesians 1:4-6)

..So…

Does it make any difference how many people are praying for us…for a specific challenge or concern?

Does it make any difference who is praying for us? And the eloquence of their prayers?

Let’s have a discussion. You can leave your thoughts, ideas and or comments at bottom of post.

Thanks.

Richard
