Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs online, in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: hospitality, a talk and good conversation.
Having helped facilitate an Alpha small group (8 participates of mixed gender and race) and seeing people come to discover what Christian faith is and grow in their faith, I highly recommend this simple approach of being in an online small group. Check with your local church to see if and when they will be starting an Online group.
If they are not starting one, prayerfully consider taking the online training and offer to help start one!
