God made you a unique person for a special mission in life with a passion for extending His kingdom. Start your adventure now.

You exist for God. You are His special creation. He formed you and He made you because He loves you. You have a reason to get up every morning: to fulfill the purpose god has for your life. And it is a great purpose, a wonderful purpose. In fact, God tells you in Jeremiah 29:11 that He has a good plan for you when you seek Him and His will for your life. You’ve heard it before, but let this sink in: God has a good plan for you.

The God who created you for Himself has never made a mistake. His plan for you has no failures or flaws. Yes, you will have to endure trials, but they will work together for good if you love god, draw near to God…experience God.

.Tony Evans. Called for a Purpose

Some Basic Foundations!

My post emphasizes the belief that every individual is unique and purposely created by God for a specific mission in life. God’s designs for each person are perfect and deliberate, detailed down to physical features, natural talents, personality, and the circumstances of their upbringing. The text encourages individuals to contemplate their unique purpose and mission in life, and to frame these reflections in the form of written Mission and Vision statements. It stresses the importance of dreams and passions as fuel for individual purpose and living a fulfilling life.

Each person is a unique expression of God’s loving design.

1. You are not an accident! Isaiah 44:2 (God is your creator. You were in his care even before you were born)

2.                 Before you were conceived, God thought of you. Not fate, chance, luck or coincidence you are breathing here at this very moment. “He chose us in him before the creation of the world.” Ephesians 1:4

3.                 Bible says, “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me” Psalm 138:8

4.                 God chose every detail of your body. Race, color of skin, hair, every feature. Also your natural talents…your personality. Psalm 1 39:15-16

5.                 Sometimes emphasis on spiritual gifts…not the other things!

6        That creative process did not stop at childbirth.

7.                 God has been molding and shaping you over the years with a care that exceeds that of the most meticulous craftsman.

8.                 He put you in a unique family.

9.                 He gave you a unique personality.

10.                He has given you unique abilities, and He has woven a unique assortment of motivators into the very fabric of your life

11.            God made you absolutely unique for a purpose.

12.            Eph. 1:4 God’s motive for creating you? Love.

13.            God designed world’s environment so we could live in it. James 1:18

14.            Most important of all the things He made! YOU.

15.            God made you for a reason!

16.            Part of His plan.

17.            Precious and perfect unique design.

18.            God’s special woman or man.

19.            He made you like He wanted you to be.

20.            Parents you had were the ones He chose. (no matter how bad a childhood we may have had).

21.            May have to struggle with this…and forgive parents.   If we had a less than ideal childhood.

22.            Guess what? WE ALL had a less than ideal childhood.

Now that you know this…have you thought more about your mission in life?

If you don’t have a written Mission and Vision statementStart now.

What dreams do you have?

Dreams. Many of us give up on our dreams.

We simply don’t believe they could happen.

Or we learned that they were unrealistic, or others didn’t support us in them.

We need to have dreams and visions. God wants us to think BIG!!

God wants to give you dreams, visions and gifts.  They are important and the body of Christ will not be complete if you don’t have them!

Dreams and visions can include:          Ministry vision          Helping people          Relationally-marriage, family          Relating to God in certain ways-intimacy          Friendships

Purpose motivates your life! Check out Purpose Driven Life book.

Purpose produces “Passion” (What excites you…what drives you…what makes you get up in the morning raring to go? Do you get up raring to go? (wait for a response…

When you fully comprehend that there is more to life than just here and now, and you realize that life is just preparation for eternity…you will begin to live differently. Living in Light of Eternity. Will make a difference how you handle every relationship, task and circumstance.

What makes you tick?

What is your passion, the spark that needs only a little breeze to ignite into a raging fire?

What do you enjoy so much that you’d do it without pay?

What gives you a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose?

What do you feel you are missing in your life?

Remember: You are unique

“God has created each of us with a unique contribution to make in our world and our times. No other person has our same abilities, motivations, network of friends and relationships, perspectives, ideas, or experiences. When we, like misplaced puzzle pieces, fail to show up, the overall picture is diminished.”  Richard Stearns: President of World Vision U.S.

Quote from his book: The Hole in our Gospel

“In everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV

As Roy Lessin states in his June 21st devotion, “Seasons”, in His Footsteps My Pathway, “Within God’s will for your life there will be seasons when certain opportunities, ministries, circumstances, and relationships move in or out of your life, like the seasons of the year that change around you.

There will be winter seasons when things are quiet, and you sense those special times when you are shut-in with God; there will be spring seasons when you sense renewal freshness, and God bringing forth new vision and new directions in your life.

There will be summer seasons filled with growth, endurance, and strength for labor; there will be fall seasons when you will see beauty; change, and the ingathering of the harvest of your labors.”
