Worship Songs from Our Heart to God’s Heart

Let us praise the LORD together, and exalt His name.
Let us praise the LORD together, and exalt His name. Psalm 34:3

Our response to God’s mercy and grace results in a radical reorientation of our lives around Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. A message from Pastor Brian Dainsberg of Alliance Bible Church which led me to write this post!

This radical reorientation of our lives results in worship and praise.

.Worship goes deeper than praise. It is something that comes from the spirit. It is often said that it is an attitude or state of the heart. In the Bible, Jesus spoke about worship in John 4 verse 23

Worship songs are us speaking directly to God, NOT telling or reciting good spiritual truth about God in song… which can also be a part of a good worship service.

Depending on your church tradition, denomination and worship team, there is ad wide variety of “worship” songs during your service. But you can have your own worship time each day with “your” own favorite worship and praise songs!

Worship songs should be easy to learn and to sing…even in our sleep!

A few of my favorite worship songs!

Psalm 25:1-2

“Unto thee of Lord…”

A great praise song!

With a radical reorientation of our lives around Jesus Christ and what He has done for us…the world can see and experience a little bit of a taste of Heaven! A great evangelistic strategy! They will know we are Christians by our love!

Now you can assemble your own favorite worship and praise songs for your daily quiet time and worship!

“In the great orchestra we call life…it’s always good to have a song in our heart.” Max Lucado
