Welcome to Faith, Vision Service
Our vision and mission is that our site can offer you the resources, encouragement to continue in your faith and help you discover and discern what vision or visions the Lord is wanting you to pursue. One of those ways of encouragement will be a periodic post available by email to you.
Get set and take off for a leisurely helicopter ride around our website, occasionally setting down for a brief look at something we find interesting, and jotting it down for another more extended trip. Lift off for more sights and sounds. We have many “Resources” and first hand stories of some of my personal friends, some going back some 40 plus years. Their narrative of their faith and how the Lord gave them a vision in many areas of their lives that impacted many parts of the world.
You can sign up to receive email notifications of new posts at the bottom of any post.
New posts will offer practical “helps” for you to implement on your journey and will also be an encouragement to you, your family and friends.
Since starting this blog in 2020, my life has changed dramatically. My wife Naomi is now with the Lord. And I will now devote more on my blog about her life and grieving, which we all go through at some time.
Some Resources for our journey
If you are wondering who I am.
My background is agriculture. Started out as a commercial lettuce grower in area that is now a suburb of Milwaukee. City of Glendale.
Even though I had a short run as a lettuce grower due to expansion of City of Glendale, I have kept an active interest in agriculture throughout my life…in different areas…agricultural missions and that may be the reason we have connected.
● With the perfection of the art and science of lettuce growing(at the time), specializing in Bibb, Romaine, Boston, and Leaf lettuces, we became the Lettuce grower/supplier of choice for both Kohl’s and Sentry (Godfrey Co/Flemming Co.), the two top food chain stores in Wisconsin at the time. We were the only lettuce growers in the area! Similar lettuce was shipped in to the Chicago market where both Kohls and Sentry purchased their produce. Marketing was not a challenge. Wish I knew then what I know now. Grateful to Kohl’s produce buyer, John (Jake) Antonucci for the good relationship we had. Thanks Jake! (Jake’s) last words to me were, “You’ll be back in business again…It’s in your blood.” Not in the Lord’s plan…but my interest did not die. just evolved into other areas.
Looking back: How did I get to this point in my life?
The rest of the story…as Paul Harvey used to say
Early life on the farm.
Background on my early life
This may be a time for a new vision of and vision from the LORD for your life!
A few books besides the Bible that have influenced my life…and will change the mission of this website!
With all the time many of have we can spend a lot of that time on the internet, searching for whatever we feel our interests and needs are. Lots of information out there, but it is not necessarily Godly wisdom!
One of the things we want to make clear is that we are not trying to duplicate what is already out there. Other website, blogs and or church sites.
We have nothing to sell, no book, product, service or music. We make reference to books through our posts…but do NOT receive any commission if you would purchase any book. Personally, if I find a book, I try to check it out at our local library, and or read reviews, etc.

Encouragement for Boomers or soon to be boomers!
“But encourage one another daily…” Heb 3:13
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Hopefully, you will find something of use to help you on your journey with the LORD.
Come back often, we will have periodic updates.
If you have been encouraged…please consider emailing one of our posts to a friend or post on Facebook, a great way to encourage someone!
In closing, “May our LORD Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.” (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17) NIV
