Mission and Vision
Mission and Vision for our website.

Our Mission

Faith Vision Service exists to encourage Christ Followers in every season of life to see God’s hand in their story, discern His purpose for this season, and take their next faithful step with Jesus.

This website is a place to explore the three connected circles of life: Faith, Vision, and Service.

  • Faith — keeping our eyes on Jesus, growing in trust, and listening for the leading of the Holy Spirit.
  • Vision — prayerfully recognizing God’s direction, purpose, and possibilities for our lives.
  • Service — using our experiences, gifts, resources, and influence to love others and serve God faithfully.

Whether you are beginning a new chapter, navigating loss or change, wondering what God may be calling you to next, or seeking to finish well, my hope is that these resources will encourage you.

We each have a story. We each live in a particular season. And God still has meaningful next steps for us.

Our desire is that, when we stand before Jesus someday, we may hear His words: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide practical, biblical, and encouraging resources that help people grow in faith and live with renewed purpose.

Through articles, personal reflections, stories, books, ministries, and trusted voices, this website seeks to help you:

  • Recognize God’s faithfulness in your past and present story.
  • Discover or reaffirm your unique calling.
  • Listen prayerfully for God’s direction.
  • Use your gifts, experiences, and resources in service to others.
  • Find encouragement for seasons of grief, transition, aging, caregiving, ministry, work, relationships, and change.
  • Live with eternal purpose wherever God has planted you.

God often begins with what may seem like a small seed: a prayer, a burden, an act of kindness, a difficult experience, a new relationship, or an opportunity to serve. As we faithfully respond, He can bring fruit that blesses others and brings glory to Him.

You will also find stories and people whose lives reflect these joy-filled circles of Faith, Vision, and Service. Their stories remind us that ordinary people, yielded to God, can make an eternal difference.

Prayer Is Ministry

Prayer is not a lesser ministry. It is real ministry.

Through prayer, we can join in what God is doing anywhere in the world. We may not be able to travel, serve on a committee, or physically go to every place God is at work—but we can pray for missionaries, churches, ministries, communities, nations, and people in need.

Prayer connects us to God’s work beyond our own neighborhood. It allows us to stand with those who are serving on the front lines, asking God to provide wisdom, protection, open doors, courage, healing, and hope.

Age, health, location, or limited mobility do not remove us from God’s purposes. In many seasons of life, prayer may become one of our most significant forms of service.

Look for what God is doing in the world—and ask Him how you might become part of it through prayer, encouragement, giving, service, or going.

Your Story Still Matters

If you are uncertain about your mission or vision in life, begin by asking God to help you see His hand in your story. He has used your joys, losses, experiences, relationships, gifts, and even disappointments in ways you may not yet fully understand.

You are not an accident. You are not finished. And you are never beyond God’s ability to guide, use, and bless your life.
