Labor Day is past
Labor Day marks a transition, encouraging reflection on life goals and purpose as the year ends. It may even prompt contemplation on aligning daily tasks with divine calling and service to God. Looking at the bottom line. How has the year been going for you during Labor Day?
Labor Day: New Challenges!
Labor Day is over. Back to work. Summer coming to an end. Children back to school and or college. Still time for some golf and or short day trips…meeting with friends…New challenges and adventures await us on our journey through life. Need some time to do some more planning for the future and end of year? Feeling a little overwhelmed as we feel the year may be coming to an end soon when we make resolutions for the new year beginning now after Labor Day!
Labor Day: Why not start now and give some thought to your goals, mission or purpose in life now. Never too early or too late to do that!
Looking at your calendar…set aside some time to think about the big picture…what have I done or accomplished this past year? What do you need to focus on or focus more on? May be thinking more on the subject of job or career now, but what about family? What is really important in your life? Do you need to change your thinking as Labor Day ends?

“If someone asked, would you be able to tell him for what purpose you’ve been put on this earth?” He goes on to mention Career, Marriage, Parenting, Recreation, Service/Ministry and Life Purpose. Good book. Check it out in your library. Maybe you have already read it. If so, it might be good to go back and focus on some of the key points in his book, especially during Labor Day reflections.
