“In the great orchestra we call life…it’s always good to have a song in our heart.” Max Lucado
Because Jesus lives we can face tomorrow. We are reminded that Christ’s purpose in coming would help us face tomorrow, with all the uncertainty that it brings, especially at this time of the Covid-19 crisis, post election and beginning of a new year and all its uncertainty. We each have our own personal trials….be they health concerns, job losses, family relationships and maybe more.
Bill and Gloria Gaither wrote the song “Because He Lives, I Can Face Tomorrow” during a traumatic time in their lives. (1971). They realized that God holds the future in His hands which makes life worth the living.
“God is our strength, meaning He’ll give us the power to make it through. He is our salvation, which tells us He will provide a way around or through our current trial. And He is our song, meaning that no matter what is happening around us, we still have a reason to sing.”

Psalm 98:1
A Psalm. O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
Psalm 149:1
Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
Psalm 32:7
Psalm 48:1 Great is the LORD
We Are One In The Spirit
First heard this song in the early 70’s.
This song was sort of an anthem among the Jesus People in the ’60s and ’70s
The Spirit-filled believer sings and makes music to the Lord in their heart. Are you a singing Christian? Do you have a song in your heart?
They, the world, will know we are Christians by our love.
In conclusion, we need to remember who reins!
What we can all sing and pray!
In conclusion, if you have found yourself closer to the LORD while listening to any of these songs, please consider sharing this post with a friend. Sharing buttons below. Blessings Richard

These songs lifted my spirit to join with the saints gone before – and angels and all the company of heaven! Thanks, Dick.
God bless you, Hib
Music has always been something that makes me feel closer to God! I often feel that the music speaks more to my heart during services than the sermons. Here are some of my favorites:
