We all want to make a difference in the world, don’t we?
So where do we begin?
Partner with your church: They are already connected with most areas of the world!
Look for what God is doing in the world…and become a part of a “team” that is praying for that country, region and or missionary. You can become a part of a team, no matter where you live. Social media gets us anyplace in the world in seconds! We don’t need to be on a “Missions Committee” to do missions ministry! A great encouragement for any of us who are “boomers’ or “Boomers and Beyond” Getting older doesn’t preclude us from prayer ministry! In fact, it can and does make us more effective! If we can’t physically “go”, we can get creative with the help of the Holy Spirit and make some eternal significance in the world.
Travel the world doing ministry at home. By prayer, we can join in the efforts of any pastor or missionary in any area of the world.
Note to individuals: Send a note to your pastor and or missions group. Thank them for what they do. Find out what missions people you have around the world, get their emails and encourage them and pray for them! Prayer is a starting point, not the end.
Making a difference through all eternity
Won’t it be great that we will meet those missionaries and pastors we prayed for but never met in this life!
As we finish our and one day stand before the LORD, we will hear, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:21
Isn’t that what we want to hear? I do
And just maybe…when the LORD returns and creates a new earth…the LORD may take us to that region and we will meet the people we were praying for…and the others who were on our “team” and then see how we did make a difference in the world and for all eternity! We will earlier meet those people in Heaven who we prayed for! Isn’t that exciting!
“The trail is long, and we won’t arrive at our destination in this life. Still, we’re on the journey with Jesus for the greatest thrill of our lives.” Zig Ziglar
Prayer changes lives for eternity!
The state of the world and missionaries. Let’s pray for them!
The post emphasizes the power of individual prayer for global change, underscoring its potential to make a significant difference. It encourages readers to participate in prayer for different parts of the world. It suggests that aging doesn’t hinder prayer ministry; instead, it enhances effectiveness. It also gives the hope that we will meet those prayed for in the afterlife, underscoring the everlasting impact of prayer.
